Ultimate chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie, worth the 2-year search for perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1.5 cups dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.67 cup peanut butter
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease your cookie sheets.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, and peanut butter in a large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix in flour and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Use 2 tablespoons of dough to make mounds on cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Roll crumbly dough into spheres and flatten each cookie with a glass by 1/3.
  • Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until they are perfectly risen and golden brown. Avoid overbaking as they will slightly harden upon cooling. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
