Indulge in double peanut butter bliss with a buttery cookie packed with creamy peanut butter and peanut butter chips.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ white whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips (6 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Using an electric mixer, blend brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and egg until creamy in a large bowl. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt on low speed. Gently fold in peanut butter chips.
  • Roll the dough into 1 1/2-inch balls, coat them with granulated sugar, then place them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets without flattening.
  • Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container.
