Indulge in a delectable mix of sweet and salty in these simple treats.
Ingredients:
  • 85g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 24 choc ripple biscuits
  • 130.00 gm smooth peanut butter
  • 80.63 gm sweetened condensed milk
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 12 squares Caramello, halved
Instructions:
  • Microwave 4 biscuits on High for 1 minute or until softened, then press them into two 12-hole 1 1/2 tablespoon patty pans. Repeat with the remaining biscuits in batches.
  • Preheat the oven to 190ºC/170ºC fan forced. Combine peanut butter, condensed milk, sugar, and 50g of butter in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat, let it cool, then whisk in the egg. Spoon the mixture into prepared cases and bake for 15 minutes until just set. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  • In a small heatproof bowl, combine dark chocolate and remaining butter. Microwave on High for 1 minute, or until melted. Stir until smooth. Drizzle chocolate mixture over each cup, then place a piece of Caramello on top. Allow to set.
