Indulgent chocolate fudge-swirled loaf cakes for peanut butter fanatics.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-flavor syrup
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate-flavor syrup
  • 20 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped, cut in half
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans with shortening and dust with flour. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and butter. Use an electric mixer to mix on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl as needed.
  • Transfer a portion of the batter to a separate bowl and mix in chocolate syrup to create a delicious chocolate fudge batter.
  • -In two loaf pans, evenly layer half of the peanut butter batter in each. -Dollop the chocolate fudge batter in the center of each pan on top of the peanut butter batter. -Spread the remaining peanut butter batter evenly over the pans. -Grab a knife and swirl in a circular motion to create a beautiful marbled effect.
  • Bake until loaves pass toothpick test. Let cool for 10 minutes in pans, then invert onto rack to unmold. Cool for 1 hour.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until smooth. If needed, gradually add 1 more tablespoon of milk until the glaze reaches desired consistency. Divide the glaze into 2 small bowls. Stir 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup into one bowl until well blended. Drizzle the peanut butter and chocolate glazes over cakes and sprinkle peanut butter cups on top of the cakes.
