Game day peanut butter-swirled brownies with sweet peanut butter frosting - a must-have tailgating dessert for peanut butter lovers!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box for cakelike brownies
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease the bottom of a 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions for cakelike brownies on the box. Set aside 1/2 cup of the batter in a small bowl. Spread the rest of the batter evenly in the pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, and 1 egg in a small bowl. Spoon dollops of the peanut butter mixture onto the brownie batter, followed by dollops of reserved brownie batter. Swirl the mixtures together with a knife for a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 35 to 38 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack for around 1 1/2 hours.
  • Combine the Peanut Butter Frosting ingredients in a small bowl until creamy. Spread the frosting over the brownies, then cut into 5 by 4 rows and store in an airtight container.
