Indulgent peanut butter trifle resembling Reese's® cups, with optional lighter sugar-free pudding and fat-free whipped topping.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed, divided
  • 1 (14.4 ounce) package graham crackers
  • 20 miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cups, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Divide the pudding mix into two bowls. Pour 2 cups of cold milk into each bowl and whisk for 2 minutes. Keep one bowl of chocolate pudding aside. Mix peanut butter and 1 cup whipped topping into the other bowl.
  • Start by arranging a bed of graham crackers in a trifle dish. Add a layer of 1/3 of the chocolate pudding, followed by 1/3 of the chocolate-peanut butter pudding, and another layer of graham crackers. Repeat these layers twice more. Finish off with the remaining frozen whipped topping, and garnish with extra graham crackers and peanut butter cups.
  • Refrigerate until the pudding sets and graham crackers soften, ideally for 6 hours to overnight.
