Pear and Cranberry Fruit Pizza

Create a mouthwatering pear and cranberry fruit pizza with a delectable Bisquick® crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 ripe large pears (about 1 1/2 lb), peeled, chopped
  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick (3 inch)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F and generously grease a 12-inch pizza pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, sugar, and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl. Use a pastry blender or two knives to cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water with a fork. Spread the dough onto a pizza pan and bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool completely before serving.
  • In a deep 10-inch skillet, warm up 2 tablespoons of honey over medium-high heat until it becomes bubbly. Add in pears, cranberries, orange peel, and cinnamon stick. Stir and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the pears soften, stirring regularly. Let it cool down. Remove and discard the cinnamon stick.
  • Combine cream cheese with 2 more tablespoons of honey in a small bowl. Spread the mixture over the crust, making sure to leave a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Top with the pear mixture. Enjoy right away or chill until ready to serve.
