Creamy pear salad with canned pears, cream cheese, and lemon gelatin - a luscious and sweet treat for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (29 ounce) can pears in juice, juice drained and reserved
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lemon-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (Cool Whip®), thawed
Instructions:
  • Mash ripe pears in a bowl to your liking using a fork.
  • Extract 1 1/2 cups juice from pears and gently warm in a saucepan over medium-low heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Take the saucepan off the stove and blend gelatin mix into the pear juice until fully dissolved. Combine cream cheese and milk into the gelatin mix until creamy. Gently fold in whipped topping, incorporate pears, and mix thoroughly. Transfer the mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish. Chill until firm, minimum 1 hour in the refrigerator.
