Whip up a luscious pralines and cream ice cream with condensed milk, caramel, pudding mix, and pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 3.5 cups milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (such as Eagle Brand®)
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups coarsely chopped pecans, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Warm up caramel ice cream topping in the microwave-safe container for 10 to 30 seconds until it is soft and slightly heated.
  • In a large mixing bowl, vigorously whisk together caramel topping, milk, sweetened condensed milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, vanilla extract, and salt until the pudding mix is fully dissolved and the batter is silky smooth.
  • Chill the batter in a covered bowl for at least 6 hours or overnight until thoroughly chilled.
  • Transfer the cold batter into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for freezing; add pecans to the soft ice cream at the end of the freezing process.
  • To achieve a firmer texture, transfer the pecan ice cream into a lidded container and freeze until reaching desired hardness. Serve soft if preferred.
