Pecan Pie Brownies

Indulge in a decadent Thanksgiving treat with the perfect blend of gooey brownies and caramel pecan pie. Your guests will be delighted!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18 ounce) package fudge brownie mix (such as Duncan Hines®)
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while lining a 9-inch deep springform pan with aluminum foil and generously coating it with cooking spray.
  • Combine brownie mix, oil, 2 eggs, and water in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, keeping the oven on.
  • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Slowly pour in melted butter while whisking until fully incorporated. Stir in pecans until coated in the mixture. Carefully pour over brownie layer and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the center is set, approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
