Indulge in a decadent pecan pie with a perfect blend of brown sugar and light corn syrup, best served with fluffy whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Combine butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until creamy. Mix in corn syrup, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Fold in chopped pecans and pour the filling into the pie shell.
  • Place in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and continue baking for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
