Candied pecans are spooned onto baking sheets to cool and harden.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.33000001311302 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Spread a generous amount of butter on the baking sheets.
  • Combine brown sugar, white sugar, water, and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a rapid boil, then stir in pecans. Cook and stir until pecans look sugary, large bubbles form, and the mixture starts to color slightly. Remove from heat and spoon onto prepared sheets. Allow to cool completely.
