Quick and delicious family meal in 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 350g penne rigate
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 100g pancetta, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • 375g jar Tomato, garlic & basil pasta sauce
  • 165.00 ml fresh basil leaves
  • Shaved parmesan, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil the pasta in a generously salted saucepan until perfectly tender. Drain and transfer back to the saucepan.
  • Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook pancetta until crisp, then add chili. Pour in wine and simmer until reduced by half. Stir in pasta sauce and simmer until warmed through. Mix in basil leaves.
  • Incorporate the crispy pancetta mixture into the pasta and sprinkle with the savory parmesan cheese.
