Decadent brown sugar and cream fudge with nuts, no chocolate.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1.6666667461395 cups finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar, cream, and butter until dissolved. Heat the mixture to between 234 and 240 degrees F (112 to 116 degrees C), or until a small amount dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when placed on a flat surface. Remove from heat and stir vigorously until the glossy texture fades, or blend in a food processor for 30 seconds. Swiftly add vanilla and nuts, then spread the mixture into a 9x9 inch dish. Chill before cutting into squares.
