Transform your Thanksgiving turkey with our simple and tasty brine recipe for juicy, flavorful results.
Ingredients:
  • 2 gallons cold water
  • 0.5 cup Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 0.5 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
Instructions:
  • In the marinating vessel, mix all ingredients thoroughly using a wire whisk until the chicken base is fully incorporated.
  • Gently submerge the uncooked turkey or poultry in the brine ensuring it is fully immersed.
  • Seal the container and refrigerate for 24-48 hours.
  • After marinating, gently take the turkey out of the brine, wash it in cold water, and then dry it with a paper towel.
  • Now cook the turkey according to your usual method.
