Festive Christmas cocktail: Creamy hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, crème de cacao, and cognac for a cozy warm-up.
Ingredients:
  • 2 packages (1 oz each) instant cocoa mix
  • 1/2 cup crème de cacao
  • 1/4 cup peppermint schnapps
  • 1/4 cup cognac
  • Sweetened whipped cream, if desired
  • Chocolate shavings, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare cocoa mix according to package instructions, substituting water for milk. In a small bowl, combine crème de cacao, schnapps, and cognac; then stir into the hot cocoa.
  • Divide the mixture among 4 Irish coffee glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top.
