Easy Candy-Stuffed Cookies using cookie mix for a quick and delicious treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter, flour and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for Cutout Cookies
  • 36 HERSHEY’S® peppermint bark bell candies, unwrapped
  • 1/3 cup HERSHEY’S® semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
  • 1/4 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candy canes (10 miniature)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Follow the instructions on the pouch to make the dough for Cutout Cookies in a medium bowl.
  • Roll dough into 36 1-inch balls. Press 1 HERSHEY’S peppermint bark bell into the center of each ball, ensuring it is completely covered. Space them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until lightly golden brown (8 to 10 minutes). Transfer from cookie sheets and let cool fully for about 20 minutes.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and shortening. Microwave on High for 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Drizzle over cookies, sprinkle with candy, and let stand for about 1 hour until set. Store cookies in a tightly covered container.
