Tender slow-cooked garlic pepperoncini roast beef, perfect for mouthwatering sandwiches with melted provolone or mozzarella cheese on hoagie rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) beef chuck roast
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar pepperoncini
  • 8 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise
  • 16 slices provolone cheese
Instructions:
  • Create small incisions in the roast and stuff them with garlic slices. Transfer the roast into the slow cooker, then generously pour the whole jar of pepperoncini, along with its flavorful liquid, over the meat.
  • Cook slowly and gently for 6 to 8 hours with the lid on.
  • Assemble the meat and cheese in the rolls, sprinkle with pepperoncini, and microwave briefly until cheese melts.
