Creamy pesto spinach chicken pasta - decadent and flavorful.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into strips
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) package dry Alfredo sauce mix
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 1 (8 ounce) package dry penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon grated Romano cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Cook garlic for 1 minute, then add chicken and sear for 7 to 8 minutes per side. Once the chicken is almost cooked through, incorporate spinach and saute for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Prepare the Alfredo sauce as directed on the package. Once ready, gently fold in 2 tablespoons of flavorful pesto and set aside for the perfect finishing touch.
  • Boil pasta in generously salted water until al dente, 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • Combine the flavorful chicken/spinach mixture with the pasta, then gently fold in the delicious pesto/Alfredo sauce. Ensure everything is thoroughly mixed, sprinkle with cheese, and enjoy your dish.
