Easy and flavorful Italian chicken: coat chicken in basil pesto, wrap with prosciutto, bake. Enjoy hot with pasta or cold in salads. Ready in 35 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 0.5 cup prepared basil pesto, divided
  • 4 thin slices prosciutto, or more if needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a baking dish.
  • Coat each chicken breast generously with 2 tablespoons of flavorful pesto, then elegantly envelop each breast with prosciutto slices until fully covered. Gently nestle the wrapped chicken breasts into the awaiting baking dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked, the juices are clear, and the prosciutto is nicely crispy.
