Elevate breakfast in bed with a beautifully boiled egg and adorable pesto toast.
Ingredients:
  • white bread, sliced
  • pesto, basil or sun-dried tomato
  • cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill on high. Cut heart shapes from slices of white bread using a 7cm-diameter pastry cutter. Toast the hearts under the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Spread one side of the toasts with store-bought basil or sun-dried tomato pesto, then sprinkle with grated cheddar. Grill for 2 minutes until the cheddar is melted and bubbly.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy with a soft-boiled egg.
