Cheesy hash browns made effortlessly in a pie maker - a delicious breakfast or snack for kids of all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 750g washed potatoes
  • 1 small brown onion, grated
  • 30g butter, melted
  • 40g (1/3 cup) cheese (cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan)
  • Chopped fresh chives, to sprinkle
  • Bulla Light Sour Cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • Peel and grate potatoes, then squeeze out excess water with a tea towel. Mix in onion, butter, and season generously. Combine mixture thoroughly in a bowl.
  • Preheat your pie maker while you fill each hole with the potato mixture. Sprinkle approximately 2 teaspoons of cheese on top of each. Close the pie maker and cook for 8 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a plate, cover to keep warm, then repeat the process with the remaining potato mixture and cheese. Season to taste and serve with chives and sour cream on the side.
