Indulgent Nutella-filled cinnamon doughnuts, made effortlessly in a pie maker, ideal for a sweet treat or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 225g (1 1/2 cups) plain flour
  • 140g (2/3 cup) caster sugar
  • 8.00 gm baking powder
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 125g (1/2 cup) Light Sour Cream
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 75g (1/4 cup) Nutella
  • 2.50 gm cinnamon
  • 100g (1/2 cup) extra caster sugar, to dust
  • 50g extra butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder, then create a well in the center. Add butter, sour cream, and eggs. Gently fold until mixed.
  • Preheat the pie maker. Fill each hole with batter until it reaches 2/3 of the way up. Add a generous teaspoon of Nutella to the center of each hole, then top with more batter to fully cover the Nutella. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes until golden and cooked.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon. Melt the extra butter in the microwave on High for 1 minute.
  • Place the freshly cooked doughnuts on a wire rack and continue the process with the rest of the batter and Nutella to yield a total of 10 delicious doughnuts.
  • Coat the warm doughnuts with melted butter and generously sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Enjoy while still warm or let them cool to room temperature before serving.
