Indulge in these festive Easter delights!
Ingredients:
  • 300g dark chocolate melts
  • 190g packet jelly beans
  • 160g packet M&Ms
  • 80g packet milk chocolate gold coins
Instructions:
  • Begin by setting aside 35g of chocolate melts. Next, place the rest of the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring with a metal spoon every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth. Use the back of a spoon or a small paintbrush to coat eight 13cm x 8cm egg-shaped moulds with the melted chocolate. Refrigerate for 20 minutes, or until set.
  • Combine colorful jelly beans, chocolate M&Ms, and shiny coins in a bowl for a delightful mix. Gently remove the egg halves from the molds and proceed to fill 4 of them with the sweet lolly mixture. Finally, top each filled egg half with a fun toy for an extra surprise.
  • Melt the saved chocolate in the microwave as previously instructed. Use melted chocolate to delicately coat or pipe around the edges of the egg halves to connect them. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm. Present and enjoy.
