Overnight marinated pork chops in sweet-savory Asian blend of pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce. Grilled and paired with pineapple slices.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple rings, juice drained and reserved
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a large plastic zipper bag. Massage the bag to mix the marinade and dissolve the sugar. Add pork chops, remove air, seal, and refrigerate overnight. Keep pineapple rings aside.
  • Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat and gently oil the grate.
  • Take out the chops from the marinade, shaking off excess, and grill for 5 to 8 minutes per side until nicely browned, no longer pink inside, and with good grill marks. Brush with marinade during grilling, allowing it to cook onto the meat. Discard extra marinade. While grilling the meat, place 4 pineapple rings on the grill until hot and marked; serve the chops topped with the grilled pineapple rings.
