Tropical scones with pineapple, orange zest, and coconut milk for a flavorful delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup butter, chilled
  • 0.75 cup coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 orange, zested
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Add chilled butter and blend until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Combine coconut milk, honey, and egg in a small bowl. Mix into the flour mixture. Gently fold in pineapple and orange zest. Shape the dough into 12 rounded pieces and place them in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
