Easy slow cooker pinto beans: Soak overnight and toss with onion, garlic, and jalapeno for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound dried pinto beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, submerge pinto beans in water, ensuring they are covered by several inches. Let them soak for at least 8 hours, or up to 24 hours. Remember to drain and rinse before using.
  • In a slow cooker, layer soaked pinto beans, onion, garlic, and jalapeno peppers. Add enough water to cover everything by several inches. Cook on Medium-Low for 4 to 6 hours. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
