Elevate classic chocolate chip cookies by using white chocolate chips and chopped pistachios for a stunning twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1.5 cups chopped pistachio nuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the butter, shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine all-purpose and whole wheat flour, oats, baking powder, and baking soda; mix into the creamed mixture. Fold in white chocolate chips and pistachios. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
