Quick and easy chipped ham sandwiches with homemade flavorful BBQ sauce made on the stovetop.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic salt
  • 1 pound chipped ham
  • 6 hamburger buns
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, mix together ketchup, water, relish, brown sugar, cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Add liquid smoke, cinnamon, black pepper, and garlic salt for seasoning. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Shred the ham and fold it into the mixture. Simmer to preferred doneness and serve hot on hamburger buns.
