Authentic Italian grandma's thin-crust pizza dough for delicious homemade pizzas anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • Combine water, yeast, and sugar in the stand mixer bowl until sugar dissolves. Incorporate bread flour, olive oil, and salt. Use the dough hook attachment to knead until dough becomes smooth and elastic, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Chill dough, covered, for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Gently deflate dough by punching it. Divide it into 2 pieces on a lightly floured surface, shaping each into a ball. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Roll out dough to achieve desired thickness.
