Recipe for 3 easy and delightful yeasted coffeecakes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast
  • 0.25 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 10 eggs, beaten
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 10 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter, cubed
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine yeast and warm water in a small bowl. Allow to stand for about 10 minutes until creamy. Heat milk in a saucepan until it bubbles, then remove from heat. Stir in butter until melted. Let the mixture cool until lukewarm.
  • Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Add nutmeg, orange extract, vanilla extract, and yeast mixture. Mix in 3 cups flour and salt. Stir in 1/3 of the milk mixture, then alternate adding the remaining flour and milk mixture. Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes until doubled.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of butter and 2/3 cup of sugar until you get a coarse crumb texture for the topping.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and gently grease 3 10-inch Bundt pans.
  • Spread the dough evenly into the pans and generously sprinkle with the flavorful topping mixture.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven.
