Succulent pork chops seared and smothered in a flavorful garlic mustard mushroom gravy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds boneless pork chops
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup butter, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
Instructions:
  • Coat pork chops generously with a flavorful blend of paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • In a hot skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, 2 to 4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet used earlier, melt the remaining butter over medium-high heat. Cook the mushrooms until golden and any extra moisture evaporates, around 5 minutes. Add the garlic and mustard and cook until the garlic is fragrant, approximately 1 minute.
  • Sprinkle flour into the skillet and whisk to eliminate any lumps. Gradually pour in beef broth while whisking until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Lower heat to medium and simmer, stirring regularly, until sauce thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Place the pork chops back into the skillet and heat through for about 1 minute. Serve piping hot.
