Succulent steamed pork dumplings with flavorful filling of pork, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce - perfect for authentic Chinese dim sum!
Ingredients:
  • 100 (3.5 inch square) wonton wrappers
  • 1.75 pounds ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 5 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage
Instructions:
  • Combine pork, ginger, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, and cabbage in a large bowl, stirring until thoroughly mixed.
  • Spoon a generous amount of pork filling onto each wonton skin. Dampen the edges with water, fold over to create a triangle, and gently roll to secure the filling. Place the dumplings on a lightly floured surface until cooking.
  • Place the dumplings in a covered bamboo or metal steamer without touching each other to avoid sticking. Steam for 15 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked.
  • Indulge in the dish while it's piping hot!
