Pork san choy bau recipe for two

Easy and flavorful San Choy Bau for a romantic dinner, served with a side of rice. Perfect for a quick and delicious weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 24.40 gm oyster sauce
  • 4.60 gm canola oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 200g lean pork mince
  • 1/4 x 227g can water chestnuts, drained, finely chopped
  • 50g green beans, finely sliced
  • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves, trimmed
  • Steamed doongara rice to serve
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix oyster sauce with 2 teaspoons of cold water. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat, then add garlic and onion. Stir-fry for 1 minute until the onion is softened.
  • Turn up the heat to medium-high and add the mince. Stir-fry until browned, which should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Toss in chestnuts, beans, and oyster sauce mixture. Stir-fry until beans are tender, about 2 minutes. Fill lettuce leaves with the mixture and serve alongside rice.
