Elevate asparagus by wrapping in prosciutto and roasting until crispy. Perfect for any spring celebration!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound asparagus, preferably thick spears
  • 3 to 3 1/2 ounces sliced prosciutto
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • Lemon zest, optional
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, optional
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a large sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the asparagus: Wash and dry the asparagus, then snap off tough ends. Set aside spears. (Save snapped ends for another dish, if desired.)
  • Wrap each asparagus spear tightly with half a slice of prosciutto, giving it a little tension as you wrap. Place the wrapped asparagus on the lined sheet pan.
  • Coat the asparagus with a generous amount of olive oil, then season with a pinch of black pepper.
  • Bake until asparagus is vibrant green, tender when pierced with a fork, and prosciutto is crispy on the edges, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Presentation: Plate the asparagus elegantly. Sprinkle with fresh lemon zest and grated parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve promptly while hot.
