Spiced pumpkin and banana loaves, moist and delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.66666668653488 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven and prepare two loaf pans by greasing and flouring them.
  • Combine sugar, pumpkin puree, flour, mashed bananas, oil, eggs, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a large bowl. Slowly incorporate water until batter is thoroughly mixed.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the greased loaf pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
