Delicious pumpkin cookie bars with creamy cream cheese frosting - a must-have for Halloween treats.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and generously coat a 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Mix in the pumpkin, flour, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Using greased hands, press the dough evenly into the pan.
  • Bake until golden brown, for about 18-20 minutes. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack for around 1 hour.
  • Place frosting in a microwave-safe bowl and heat uncovered on high for 15 to 30 seconds, stirring halfway through, until melted and smooth. Drizzle the frosting over the bars using a fork. Allow it to set for about 10 minutes before cutting into 6 rows by 4 rows.
