Easy and flavorful pumpkin spice donuts, perfect for anytime!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 teaspoons milk, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • Combine the pumpkin, eggs, milk, and butter with the flour mixture, then beat until well combined.
  • Transfer the pumpkin mixture into a pastry bag equipped with a large star tip with a 1/2-inch opening. Pipe 3-inch circles onto lined baking sheets.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, approximately 13 minutes. Transfer doughnuts to a wire rack to cool.
  • In a bowl, combine confectioner's sugar, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. Slowly mix in milk until a glaze forms. Brush or spoon the glaze over the doughnuts.
