Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 0.33333298563957 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.66666698455811 cup corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine one egg, pumpkin, 1/3 cup sugar, and spice until well mixed. Smooth the mixture over the pie shell.
  • Mix together 2 eggs, corn syrup, 1/2 cup sugar, butter, and vanilla until well combined. Then fold in the nuts and spread the mixture over the pumpkin layer.
  • Bake until the filling is firm, approximately 50 minutes in the preheated oven.
