Pumpkin dump cake: A decadent fall treat topped with buttery pecans and golden cake mix. Perfect for autumn festivities.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl, then transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Evenly distribute cake mix over the pumpkin mixture and sprinkle with pecans. Finish by drizzling melted butter on top.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour.
