Irresistible fall treats with a pumpkin pie spice twist, ideal for snacking or gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 cups walnut halves, toasted
Instructions:
  • Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with cooking parchment paper.
  • Combine all ingredients in a 10-inch skillet, except for the walnuts. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the honey dissolves. Add the walnuts and increase the heat. Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly until the mixture boils and the walnuts are fully coated.
  • Spread walnuts onto a sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a fork to separate the nuts. Allow to cool fully for around 30 minutes before enjoying. Keep in an airtight container for storage.
