Indulge in gooey Cheddar Queso Dip, perfect with sea salt sweet potato chips. A must-try pairing!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (2 medium)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles, undrained
  • 1 bag multigrain sea salt sweet potato chips
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Combine butter, flour, cumin, and garlic in the skillet and whisk together until mixed well. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until aromatic. Slowly pour in the milk and bring to a boil. Continue cooking and whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Take the skillet off the heat and stir in the cheeses until melted. Add tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, and green chiles. Serve the dip promptly with chips.
