Delicious Swiss cheese and egg custard breakfast quiche without the crust for an easy, hassle-free meal.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and give that 9-inch pie pan a quick kiss of grease.
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Place on paper towels to drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese and crumbled bacon over the bottom of the prepared pie pan. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, flour, onion, butter, and salt until smooth. Pour mixture over the cheese and bacon in the pie pan.
  • Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, until the center is fully set. Enjoy hot or cold.
