Simplify dinner with this savory and satisfying beefy baked ziti, perfect for busy nights and pleasing everyone.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar RAGÚ® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated reduced-fat Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounces uncooked ziti pasta
  • 0.75 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a spacious nonstick skillet, caramelize ground beef over medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the sauce and water. Add in the browned ground beef, ricotta, Parmesan cheese, and uncooked ziti. Transfer the ziti mixture into a 13x9-inch baking dish and cover it securely with aluminum foil.
  • After 55 minutes in the preheated oven, take the dish out and top it with mozzarella cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes without the foil. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
