Sensational summer ramen and cabbage salad with Asian-inspired flavors, featuring crisp cabbage, green onions, toasted ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds. Perfect for potlucks and gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, crushed
  • 1 cup blanched slivered almonds
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 head napa cabbage, shredded
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a medium skillet over low heat, sauté ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds in melted butter until golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • In a small saucepan, heat oil, sugar, and vinegar until boiling. Allow to cool, then stir in soy sauce.
  • Mix together cabbage and green onions in a large bowl. Add the noodle mixture and soy sauce mixture, then toss to coat everything evenly before serving.
