Raspberry Red Wine Sauce

Make a quick and delicious raspberry-red wine sauce in just 15 minutes with only four ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine
  • 1 package (12 ounces) frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed
Instructions:
  • In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Add wine and bring to a boil. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  • Add the vibrant raspberries and bring the mixture to a boil. Let it bubble away for 3 to 4 minutes until it thickens beautifully.
  • After straining the sauce, let it cool to room temperature before covering and storing it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
