Red, White and Green Beans

30-minute three bean side dish - quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound green beans, cut into 1- to 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 can (15 to 16 ounces) great northern or navy beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-ounce jar) or 2 jars (2 ounces each) sliced pimientos, drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Instructions:
  • Place 1-inch of water (season with salt if desired) in a 3-quart saucepan and add green beans. Bring to a boil and cook uncovered for 6 to 8 minutes until they are crisp-tender. Drain the green beans.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in the pot. Heat over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
