Creamy garlic mashed red potatoes - a favorite, easy side for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 8 red potatoes, cubed
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic, divided
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup half-and-half cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 0.125 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, submerge the potatoes in water, ensuring they are covered. Enhance the flavor by adding 1 teaspoon of crushed garlic. Boil until the potatoes are tender when poked with a fork, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes, then blend in butter until melted. Stir in half-and-half, steak seasoning, garlic powder, sugar, and rest of the crushed garlic. Use an electric mixer to whip the potatoes until smooth.
