Spicy red pepper red velvet brownies for a bold twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour your trusty 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, ground red pepper, and salt in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • In a bowl, whisk together sugar, sour cream, butter, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture and stir until well combined. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the oven, already preheated, for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with fudgy crumbs. Let it cool in the pan before slicing.
