Ingredients:
  • 123.75 gm dry red wine
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 27.30 gm olive oil
  • 4 (125g each) beef fillet steaks
  • 800g red rascal potatoes, scrubbed, cut into thin rounds
  • mixed salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine wine, fragrant rosemary, flavorful garlic, and 2 teaspoons of oil in an elegant glass or ceramic dish. Gently place the steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let the steaks rest, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • In a large bowl, mix the potato with the remaining oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Combine well.
  • Prepare the barbecue plate or chargrill by spraying it with oil and heating it over medium-high heat. Cook the potatoes for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and tender. Transfer the potatoes to a plate and cover to keep warm. Then, cook the steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they are cooked to your liking.
  • Plate the grilled steaks alongside the seasoned potatoes and fresh salad.
